I can’t believe that it’s already August! I know I haven’t posted in a while, I’m so sorry about that! Over the last few weeks, we’ve spent time catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a while, taking a well-deserved cross-country trip to visit my family in Colorado, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. It’s been so good to see some of the people we haven’t been able to in the last year and a half. My young son was so excited to play and hike with my family in Colorado! He had such a wonderful time and they were amazed at how much he’s grown and all that he has to say. Of course, my knitting is never far from my mind or hands. While we rolled through state after state on our journey west, I spent quite a bit of time knitting in the car. It was an adventure for sure!
Right now, I’m working on a few fun patterns for the fall and winter. Several accessories will be available to get you ready for the cooler weather and perhaps even a cropped sweater after the New Year. I can’t wait to share them with you! In September, I’ll be back with my Exploring Colorwork series. When I began this goal in January, I never thought there were so many different techniques to explore. It’s so exciting to discover and learn something new! I can’t wait to continue on this journey and share it with you.
